Creative Design firm seeks experienced, well respected, trustworthy and organized Account Manager to manage (handhold) clients and help build business while our artists draw and paint!
TITLE
Account Manager
SUMMARY
Oversee and manage a diverse range of design and marketing clients and accounts.
Responsibilities include overseeing and managing client accounts: from assisting the team in the close of a deal, to budgeting, negotiating with vendors, proactive client communication and overall client service.
Flexibility, positive attitude and willingness to roll with the punches a must in this creative environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Client communication and service are the key responsibilities of the Account Manager. Development of client relationships, proactive management of project opportunities and effective communication with internal Production Manager are required.
2. Create, track, and reconcile project and account budgets.
3. Event coordination for internal and client events.
4. Develop proposals in response to RFPs.
5. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Directly related agency Account Management expertise in Business-to-Business, corporate, and small- to medium-size business a MUST!
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to analyze, develop, establish, and maintain efficient client service processes. Solid strategic thinking and writing skills. Ability to analyze and creatively solve problems. MAC and PC skills needed (studio primarily MAC based). MS Office, Quark and PowerPoint preferred. Fanatical attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and level-headedness in high pressure situations. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
Private office.
Ability to walk three flights of stairs, scale tall buildings and stay positive in the face of danger.
